Why the question mark... Well it's not Google Docs anymore is it? But many of us know it as Google Docs because that is what it WAS called. Now or at least if you updated your account it is Google Drive!
Google Docs This is where you used to be able to make a "document". Be it a word processing, spreadsheet or Presentation document. Now it is just that. A document. (No not a Word .doc!) | | Google Drive Now that they have file storage and a greater ability to upload files it now acts as a "Drive". You can even download "Drive" and it acts as a folder on your computer. Anything you put in your "Drive" shows up on line as a Google... Doc. |
It all depends!
Depends on weather or not YOU chose to update to the "New Google Drive" or not. AND it depends on which browser you are using. Some older browsers like IE do now like or work as well when using Google Drive. I am not sure if or when you are/will be required to update.
iOS
There is no more one Google app to EDIT your Documents. Now you if you want to edit your Google files you need to download or use the specific Google APP - ditto for Presentation (oops it was updated to "Slides") and Sheets. Three separate apps.
